Ms. Uvasree of II year B.Sc. (Agri) won third prizes in SHOT PUT and DISCUS THROW events at the 18th All India Inter Agricultural Universities sports meet held in Bengaluru.
She has been appreciated by the Dean, faculty and staff of the college

Ms. Uvasree of I B.Sc. (Agriculture) has won FIRST PRIZE in shotput at the 17th ALL INDIA INTER AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY SPORTS MEET held from 25.3.2017 to 29.03.2017 at HAU, Hisar, Haryana. This is the first National level Medal won by a Krisatian, that too in very first year of birth of KRISAT.
The KRISATians visited CTRI, Vedasandur, ARS, Bhavanisagar and HC&RI, Periakulam on a study tour on 25.10.2016 to get hand on knowledge and training on various crops grown in different places, research activities conducted on different crops and seed production activity.

The students gained practical knowledge on transplanting of paddy seedlings in wetlands and also the package of practices for rice production in KRISAT farm on 26.11.2016 Each student has ben allotted a minimum area for practical experience
Faculty and staff were on One day tour to nearby tourist place under HR policy.
The FIRST BOOK EXHIBITION has been organised at KRISAT campus for the benefit of students and faculty.The Dean C.Swaminathan inaugurated the exhibition. Nearly 5000+ books were on display. Faculty and librarian from near by college participated the event and purchased books. Book distributors from Madurai and Virudhunagar participated.
KRISATIANs bagged 7 prizes in State Level Cultural Fest conducted at Madurai and Theni. They are felicitated by the Dean on 15.03.2018
National Deworming Day was celebrated on 26.02.2018. The students were supplied with deworming tablets given by Health Department, Govt. of Tamil Nadu
The 'Fitness centre' was opened by C.Swaminathan, Dean on 16.02.2018.
World Mother Languages day was celebrated on 21.2.2018. The students took pledge in four languages viz., Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and English
Its a paperless exam. The university examinations are conducted online through EXAM PADS.
Dr.A.Abdul Kareem, CHAIRMAN, Education Improvement Committee and former VC, TNAU visited KRISAT on 19.12.2017 and reviewed the progress of the academic and development activities and gave inputs for further advancement and growth of the college.
